Pinetum Celebrates 20 Years!!

Pinetum Celebrates 20 Years!! 

2009 is a very special year for Pinetum as we are celebrating a real milestone, 20 years of UK manufacture!! 

Pinetum was created by its Managing Director Dean Robbins, along with brothers Richard and Mark in 1989, designing and manufacturing hand-built and finished pine book cases from a very small unit in Sutton Veny, just a stone’s throw from the present manufacturing site in Warminster.

Since then Pinetum has grown rapidly to become one of the largest manufacturers of solid wood furniture in the UK with a very impressive facility covering 3 large industrial units covering over 50,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution and office space.

Probably now best known for it’s solid oak furniture Pinetum continues to go from strength to strength with its ever popular ranges continuing to buck the trend against the market place. In 2008 it has seen just under double digit growth in its oak furniture sales in what everybody is describing as a very depressed market place.

Pinetum’s very first customer was Pinewood studios in Yeovil and from that very small distribution base Pinetum can boast that it is now truly a “nationwide” manufacturer  supplying retailers throughout the UK and Ireland.
